Other things to avoid are wheat, white rice, soya. Instead of wheat, use millets which is full or iron and vitamins. Their glycemic index is low compared with rice or wheat. And instead of white rice, use brown or red rice. 2/3
Try this. Stop eating sugar (or gud, honey etc) for 30 days. After this period, your taste buds would have reset. Now you will hate sugar. Remember, your body's No.1 enemy is sugar. 3/3
