Did you know you can activate Windows 11 using a 3rd party activation server on the internet outlined in dozens of GitHub projects that Microsoft purposefully doesn't try to stop because at the end of the day, they want you running Windows 11 because you're the product! 😏 #TechTip
Here is a link to one of MANY projects that outlines this method of activation. And not a single one of them has been removed from GitHub even after being reported multiple times, even by yours truly just to prove my theory! github.com
They even published the volume license keys that KMS's like misguides use to activate installations. Heck, you can even deploy your own KMS server & activate your own installs. Microsoft really wants you running Windows 10/11 no matter how you do it! 🤣 learn.microsoft.com
I've also reported dozens of these GitHub projects to Microsoft and GitHub and they won't respond or remove them when I've had them successfully remove other projects in the past. This is also why Microsoft ignores the gray market key sellers largely even when people report them.
There are also several other methods you can use to activate Windows 11 that don't even require any remote licensing server and can be carried out with just simple scripts running on the client. Those projects are also on GitHub and Microsoft also ignores them on purpose.
So long as the method of activation doesn't prevent Microsoft from deploying updates to the machine or disable their ability to collect telemetry from the machine then they don't give a rip how it gets on there and stays on their IMHO based on their response to all this.
