I write this thread with a heavy heart about what's going on in the UK: The major culprits in the UK's current turmoil over immigration, crime, and Anti-Muslim Hatred are clear to me: Muslim community leaders and the UK government. Both have roles in exacerbating or potentially resolving these issues. As an Arab and Muslim from the birthplace of Islam, Saudi Arabia๐ธ๐ฆ, I feel compelled to address some nuanced challenges within the Muslim community in the UK.

2๏ธโฃ-๐: I was invited to speak at the EU๐ช๐บ Parliament in December 2019, shortly before Brexit๐ฌ๐ง was enacted, where I argued that the far left policies of European countries are a primary cause of Islamophobia, not the right wing. It's due to short-sighted policies that make the majority of their citizens have unfavorable feelings towards the Muslim community because of enacted laws that seem to give them immunity and due to grievance politics.

More troubling is the deliberate breaking of laws, like public prayers on streets or involvement in criminal activities without community leaders unequivocally condemning these actions. Allegiance to radical groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and provocative interpretations of Islam add fuel to the fire.

They've allowed Islamist radicals like Saad Alfaqeeh, a US๐บ๐ธ-sanctioned terrorist linked to Al-Qaeda, to reside in London and spread hate against the West. Also encouraging Jihad against Non-Muslims through his popular platforms, including a TV channel in the UK. This freedom seems disproportionately granted to minorities, suggesting a double standard in application of British liberties. This is one of numerous examples.

While the UK๐ฌ๐ง is helping them and receiving them, facilitating their rise as "Muslim community leaders" where they teach hatred towards the UK, and encouraging them to make riots and crimes directly and indirectly. These are merely facts that no one can ever deny.
