The first CALLING is unto SONSHIP.
"And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God CALLED UNTO (drew) HIM OUT OF THE MIDST OF THE BUSH, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I." Exodus 3:4
The second CALLING is unto MINISTRY.

Jesus was CALLED the SON as He came out of the water.

Jesus became the MINISTER out of the WILDERNESS (bush)!
Calling into sonship is from the WATER but calling into ministry is from the BUSH!

Remarkably, God did not call Moses from the midst of the FIRE but from the BUSH- the UNBURNT BUSH!
Fire does not make or mean a calling; the BUSH that survives the burning of the fire does!
Men are meant to turn aside to see not just the burning fire but the UNBURNT BUSH!
Jesus, like the bush on Horeb, survived the fire of the temptations from the devil and the wild beasts. Therefore, God commanded men to hear Him!
It is not enough for you to carry fire without the message of being carried through the fire and you survived!

God speaks easily from the midst of such a β€˜bush’ that had survived such an inferno, not just from men who only carry fire without being carried through the fire!
