1. Vinayaka Mandir, Bikkavolu
As per the locals, the unique 7-foot tall Murti of Ganesh Ji gradually increases in size every year. While the Murti is dated to be 1200 years old, the locals say it is a lot older.
2. Siddhivinayak Mandir, Mumbai
The Murti is carved from a single black stone with its trunk bent to the right, a rare and powerful form. Inside, the Mandir’s golden roof shines bright known for bestowing prosperity.
3. Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Mandir, Pune
During Ganesh Chaturthi, the Murti is adorned with nearly 40 kg of gold. Founded by a sweet maker, this Mandir is a testament to devotion, even surviving a b0mb attack with unwavering faith.
4. Trinetra Ganesh Mandir, Ranthambore
Uniquely, this Mandir depicts Bhagwan Ganesh with his family. Nestled within a fort, it is famous for its “wedding card invitations” ritual, sent by devotees seeking divine blessings.
5. Ganpatipule Mandir, Ratnagiri
A Swayambhu Murti, self-manifested from a monolithic rock, faces west towards the sea—a rare orientation. This Mandir blends spirituality with the serene beauty of a beach setting.

According to legend, it is the place where Bhagwan Ganesh tricked the Vibhishan, after establishing the Ranganathaswamy deity in Srirangam. The Mandir Perched atop a massive rock hill dates back to the 7th century

Part of the Ashtavinayak series, this Mandir is believed to grant peace of mind. It tells the story of Bhagwan Ganesh retrieving the Chintamani jewel from a demon.
11. Ashtavinayak Mahaganapati Mandir, Ranjangaon, Maharashtra
Home to a self-manifested Murti with ten trunks and twenty arms, this temple is seen as the most powerful among the Ashtavinayak temples, tied to the defeat of demon Tripurasura.
12. Siddhivinayak Maharashtra, Siddhatek, Maharashtra
Situated on a hillock by the river Bhima, this Mandir is renowned for its powerful energy. The Murti’s right-turned trunk signifies a formidable form of Bhagwan Ganesh.
13. Ballaleshwar Mandir, Pali, Maharashtra
Named after a devoted child, Ballal, this Mandir is the only one named after a devotee. Its Murti, with diamond-studded eyes and an orange hue, faces east, presenting a divine spectacle.
14. Varadvinayak Mandir, Mahad, Maharashtra
A self-manifested (Swayambhu) Murti stands here, with a unique privilege for devotees—they are allowed to touch the Murti directly, a rare practice in most Mandirs.
15. Manakula Vinayagar Mandir, Pondicherry
The Mandir is known for its stunning golden chariot. The erstwhile resident elephant Lakshmi, used to bless devotees by placing her trunk on their heads, a gesture of divine acceptance. Unfortunately, Lakshmi passed away in 2022
