Some enemies/"opponents"/"critics" of islam try to use the Ḥādīth in Sahih Muslim 2538a as an example of a false prophecy when it's not.

Here is the Ḥādīth we are talking about. The prophet ﷺ is basically saying after 100 years from his statement no companion would be alive. So it's simple, we see the last companion to die and see if he lived longer than 100 years or less than that.
First we must know when did the prophet ﷺ say this statement so we can count from there. As the Ḥādīth itself states the prophet ﷺ said it one month before his death. We know the beloved ﷺ passed away on the 11th year AH. And this statement was said in that same year (11AH).
Therefore if the last companion to die passed away before 112 AH then it's a correct prophecy ✅.
And if he lived beyond 112 AH then that means it's a false prophecy ❎ as the "critics" claim.
So let's see which one is it!

The last companion to pass was Abū al-Ṭufayl ʿĀmir ibn Wāthilah (RA), there are different opinions about the exact dates which are (100 or 102 or 107 or 110) AH, Regardless of which one is the correct one, they all happened before the year 112 AH so the prophecy is correct 💯
If the correct date is:
100 AH then it means he passed away after 88 from the statement of the prophet ﷺ ✅
If 102 AH = 90 years ✅
If 107 AH = 95 years ✅
If 110 AH = 98 years ✅
So even the furthest date by the historians is fullfiled before the completion of 100 years.

So whichever date someone takes to be the correct one from all the reported dates (110 AH is most likely the correct one) then the prophecy is fullfiled and true regardless of which one of them is correct 💯. So the prophet ﷺ didn't make a false a prophecy at all.
I guess this is it for now. And know that the prophet ﷺ never made any false Prophecies nor is it possible because he's a true prophet of God who received the news of the unseen and he ﷺ is the greatest of the prophets and with that i end the thread 🧵 till the next time 😁👋
