Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said:
“If the Dīn was at the Pleiades, even then a people from the sons of Persia would attain it.”
(paraphrase of Bukhārī 4897, Muslim 2546, and Aḥmad 7950).

Ibn Taymiyya:
“It was as he had foretold, because this occurred in the Tābʿīn and their Tābʿīn, and so on, from the sons of Persia, like:
al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī, Muḥammad Ibn Sīrīn, Sa'īd Ibn Jubayr, ʿIkrima mawlā Ibn ʿAbbās, Mujāhid Ibn Jabr,

Ibn Taymiyya:
“This fire broke out in the year 655 (footnote says 654) in the land of Hijaz, so it melted rock and did not cook meat, and the people of Busra saw the necks of camels from the light of that fire.
