The place originally was tourism deptt run resorts with 58 rooms. Reddy converted this lavish 44acre land into residence-cum-camp-office with just 12 rooms and rest are conf halls and chambers.

Now Reddy (obviously) is not moving here. CB Naidu has no plan to make any office here in Vishakapattanam. Palace can't be use as tourists resort because of just 12 personalised rooms. So around ₹500-600cr of property at taxpayers and half a hill is gone for a toss.

Now, compare it with coverage of Kejriwal's ₹50cr luxury renovation. Since Jagan Reddy is an important regional alliance, no party wants head-on.
And since no political interest in the story, no media making noise.
