My detailed Thailand trip itinerary where I spent 8 days travelling across Thailand:
Major details:
Trip duration - 8 days
Trip cost -70 k per person INR
(Mumbai to Mumbai)
No of travelers : 3
Visa cost: Visa free entry
Travel start date: 23 March(Summer)
We booked a flight from Mumbai to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport through srilankan airlines(highly recommended). Ticket Costed us around 12-13k per person. We boarded the flight around 8:30pm a super good airline. I had my dinner and watched a movie.
Landed in Colombo at 10:40
After a brief layover we caught the flight to Bangkok and flight duration was around 3 hours landed somewhere around 4AM.
We were served breakfast on the flight so that part was sorted.
Completed the immigration hardly took 5 mins and entered the beautiful country.
Took a metro to the west Bus terminal to catch a bus to Phuket.
From 7-11 bought a local sim that costed us around 50bhat.
Took a Bus to Phuket a very smooth ride beautiful landscapes since I was tired I was mostly sleeping.
We already had booking in Phuket checked in rested for a while and then went to the phuket beach. Saw one of the most scenic sunsets.
In the night went to the infamous walking street and enjoyed the night life.
Tried street food and it was delicious.
Came back to the hotel around 2AM. The next day I caught a bus to Bangkok and reached somewhere around 4PM. After checking in I went sightseeing.
Checked out canals, malls, ferry, Chinatown and ended up in khao-san road pretty close to our stay.n
Next morning I took a flight to Krabi through Vietjet and it costed us somewhere around 2.5k-3k and checked into our hotel in Old krabi Town, very cheap and peaceful place to be.
Rented a bike and went to see blue lagoon and emerald pool and had one of the best dip
Same day booked evening island trip to Hong islands during which we did snorkeling in bio luminous plankton It was highly recommended one of the best things I have seen in my life It was very beautiful.
Overall the whole island trip is worth doing even though temp was very high
Island tour service includes pickup one meal few refreshments and drop to your hotel. Thai people are so in the hospital they will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Also it is very safe to travel in Thailand being it a girl or solo traveler it's very safe.
Next day I took a ferry to Phi-phi islands where we planned to do nothing and just chill.
Went to a pool party, partied whole night with Germans,Brits and Americans. Played beer pong danced, wrestled, played games in the pool and ended the night with a fireworks
The next day we took a ferry to Phuket where we had booked two days of our final stay. Explored the old phuket and new Phuket Town saw some of the most beautiful beaches on first day.
Second day I booked a phi-phi island tour to Maya bay, monkey islands did snorkeling
For almost one hour the highly recommended saw corrals, fishes got stung by jelly fish twice and man it stinks but all of it was worth it.
Next day took a flight to Mumbai.
End.
Few tips: sunscreen is a must
2) Buy keep liquid bottle more than 200ml
3) anything you want to buy go buy it from 7/11
4) Try different drinks it's very cheap and refreshing
5) Try restaurants and street food is hygienic and tasty
Ps: we intentionally didn't try the full moon party too overhyped.
