Bodejo in a goodwill message in commemoration of the 2024 Eid ul-Adha celebration, issued by the association’s public relations officer, Mohammed Tasiu Suleiman, urges Muslims to uphold the tenet of Islam in their endeavour.
He also admonished Muslims and other Nigerians to embrace peace and remain law-abiding for development to thrive in the country
“I wish all of you a peaceful and sweet celebration and pray the Almighty Allah to grant your heart desires,” he was quoted as saying.
Bodejo further admonished Muslims to continue to offer prayers for peace, unity and prosperity of the country, reminding them “Islam is a religion of peace and if its adherents pray to Allah with sincerity, He will surely answer”.
This year’s celebration of the Eid ul-Adha(festival of sacrifice) is scheduled for Sunday June 16.
