A brief intricacy to Turtle Soup (CRT) OPEN ⏬ #Thread
Grab your popcorn and some milk, though I won't be wasting your time.
Let's go 🚀 'Turtle soups are simply the false breakouts from different ranges (candles)'
Turtle soup is very powerful because it is usually an 'intentional' manipulation above a high or below lows to entice participants into the wrong direction..
Where does turtle soup happen?
📌 Above old highs
📌 Below old lows But not every old high/low can be turtle souped..
What then are the rules for trading the turtle soup?
Market profiles....
📌 In a BULLISH market, highs are being broken and lows are being rejected/respected..
📌 In a BEARISH market, lows are being broken and highs are being rejected/respected Note the difference!!
You know by now that the daily candle is divided into 6 (six) 4h candles:
📌 1, 5, 9 - high probability for London/New York session (pairs like EUR, USD & GBP)
📌 13, 17, 21 - high probability for Sydney/Asia session (pairs like NZD, AUD, CHF, JPY)
When a bullish higher candle opens, this is what happens... 1. Open
2. Decline (below opening price)
3. Range (on a lower timeframe)
4. Turtle soup (into a keylevel at a certain time)
5. Change in State of delivery and
6. Expansion upwards... Backtest this...
I will stop here for now! 🥂
Do give a 'follow' if you read up to this point, repost for others to be enlightened... 🤝❤️
