πŸͺ―Does Sikhism come from the Vaishnavism sect of Hinduism?
Every point is from Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
πŸŸ₯1. Guru Arjan Dev Ji calls Lord Krishna (Goverdhandhari from Vrindavan) as Parbraham Parmeshwar on Page number 1082 Guru Granth Sahib Ji
πŸŸ₯2. On Page number 1402 of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Guru Raam Das ji praises the supreme Lord Krishna, by telling about how beautiful he is and Guru Raam Das ji also talks about Mother Yashoda .
πŸŸ₯3. Naryan is worshipped in Sikhism as well and Fifth Guru of Sikhs Guru Arjan Dev ji mentions it that if you want Mukti you need to meditate on his name and Shri Guru Granth Sahib page no 714 mentions it :
πŸŸ₯4.Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji talks about Lord Krishna in page no 988:
it mentions clearly that Supreme Lord(Narayana) came to Brindabana(Vrindavana) to Mata Devki and the Lord plays there ,he plays Flute and herds cows and about Kamlapati(means husband of Mata Laxmi or Naryana)
πŸŸ₯5. Shri Guru Granth Sahib page 98 Shri Guru Nanak Devji mentions about Lord Krishna clearly and talks about him, Guruji says that How Lord Krishna becomes friend of Gurmukh people and is always with them, people worship his feet , his Hair is beautiful :
πŸŸ₯6. There always is a doubt in people that the Supreme God is formless or in Unmanifested form but in Guru Granth Sahib ji , the bani of Shri Guru Nanak Devji clearly mentions about him that he is in both Manifested and Un Manifested Form :
πŸŸ₯7. In the Bhagavad Gita, the Lord states that worshiping in the unmanifested or personal form leads to Him. However, it's challenging to grasp the unimaginable, and the path for those attached to the unmanifest is full of tribulations.
πŸŸ₯8. In Guru Granth Sahib ji there is a very popular line that says β€œ Ram Japo ji aise aise Dhruv Prahlad Japyo Has jaise β€œ . Dhruv and Prahlad were Devotees to Lord Narayana. on page number 337 in bani of Sant Kabeer ji says
πŸŸ₯9. In page 469 of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji it clearly mentions he One Lord Krishna is the Divine Lord of all; He is the Divinity of the individual soul.
πŸŸ₯10. Shri Guru Granth Sahib mentions clearly about King Hiranakashap who was killed by Lord Narayan in his Narsingh Form .
And it Also mentions about Ravaan , how arrogant he became and lord came in form of Ram and killed him on page 1402 and 224:
πŸŸ₯11. Now there are 4 principles of a Hindu life and that are mentioned below:
Dharma ,Artha , Kama ,Moksha.
Similarly there are 4 pricliples of Sikh lives as well and they are :
Dharam Khand, Gyan Khand , Saram Khand , Karam Khand .
πŸŸ₯12. On page 1082 of GGS,
Vasudev, the Lord of universe & Narayana, the companion of all, destroyer of demons, protector of the earth, and savior of Draupadi. He is described as unborn, destroyer of Maya, performing miracles, and engaged in delightful play, yet unattached.
πŸŸ₯13. Bani of Sant Kabir ji in Guru Granth sahib in which he praises lord Krishna by saying
β€œ Brindaban man Haran Manohar Krishan Charavat Gaaoo ray
Ja ka Thakur thee Saringdhar( Lord of Universe) Mohi Kabeera nano ray.”
πŸŸ₯14. On page 727 of Sant Namdevji's bani in the Guru Granth Sahib, it says:
"You alone are the Lord of countless worlds,
My Lord, King, akin to dark-skinned Krishna,
Master of the sun, Indra, and Brahma,
The Lord and Master of Naam Dayv, the Liberator of all."
πŸͺ―Conclusion:
Some Sikhs may still disagree, but I can't change their views. I'm still learning about various holy books, including the Bhagavad Gita and Sri Guru Granth Sahib. I leave the conclusion to the readers to decide.
