2 of 20/ Yesterday was Donald Trump's third day of his Election Interference Trial. Twelve jurors have been seated (in addition to two additional seated jurors who were dismissed) and one of five alternate jurors have been selected.
3 of 20/ Afterward, Trump spoke in the hallway of the court building. What follows is a body language analysis of a portion of his statement contained in this video:
4 of 20/ Trump is reading through copies of what he purports to be stories from different news sources written by who he touts are "legal experts".
5 of 20/ In this video segment Trump says, " 'The Trial Spectacle Begins' – that's Wallstreet Journal. It's expectacle [sic]. Every one of these [pause] 'America is the [sic] third world [pause] country'."
6 of 20/ As he says, "Spectacle" (0:01) Trump displays contempt on the right side of his face.
7 of 20/ Another contempt display occurs as he says, "begins" (0:02).
8 of 20/ And yet another contempt microexpression is seen just three seconds later, as Trump says, "expectacle" [sic] (0:05), he again displays contempt on his right.
9 of 20/ Just before he says, "America's a third world country", Trump exhibits two (different) consecutive tongue tells/behaviors in rapid succession.
10 of 20/ The first (0:09) was a 'Loose Tongue Jut'. Indicating the thought-emotion of: "I just said/about to say something stupid" or "I've been bad", "I've got caught", and/or "I just lied/about to lie". Trump is lying. He does NOT believe America is a third world country.
11 of 20/ Take care not to mistake a loose tongue jut, with a tight tongue jut, or a wide-open tongue jut – as these three behaviors indicate completely different thought-emotions.
12 of 20/ The next display occurs less than a second later and lasts about 1.2 seconds (~0:9 - 0:10). Trump rapidly moves his tongue side-to-side as he licks the underside of his (upper) lip (Anticipatory Pleasure Tongue Display).
13 of 20/ This specific tongue behavior can be slower, however in this example, the tongue movement is rapid. It can involve either the lower or upper lip.

14 of 20/ This specific, side-to-side tongue movement indicates anticipatory pleasure. Moreover, it's often (but not always) correlated with sexual pleasure. Note that when he's exhibiting this behavior, Trump's about to say, " 'America is the [sic] third world [pause] country'."
15 of 20/ Thus, as he's first reading "America is a third world country" to himself (before he reads it aloud), Trump is experiencing pleasure. This is a classic body language manifestation of Sadistic Personality Disorder.
16 of 20/ Note also in this short segment – Trump mispronounces "a spectacle" as "expectacle" (the second time he [tries] to say it), he omits the word "the" (i.e., the "Wall Street Journal"), and he substitutes "the" for "a" (i.e., "a third world country").
17 of 20/ SUMMARY: Donald Trump displayed overt sadistic pleasure in reading (and anticipating saying aloud), "America is a third world country". This is yet another manifestation of Trump's Sadistic Personality Disorder (one component of his Dark Tetrad pathology).
18 of 20/ Donald Trump also displayed three examples of contempt in this short video. Trump does NOT believe "America is a third world country".
19 of 20/ In addition, Trump also continues to display, and with increasing frequency, phonemic paraphasia consistent with progressive dementia.
