A lot of people tell you how easy it is to start making money online in the next few months.
But they never actually tell you HOW to make that money in the next few months.
So this is absolutely everything you need to do within the next 90 days to make money online.
A thread.
Day 1 to 30.
1. Pick a high-income skill: This is a skill that you can sell as a service as a solution to people with problems. I’d recommend web design, copywriting, SEO, ads, sales closing, etc. Something in demand.
2. Learn that high-income skill for the first 30 days: Don’t just watch 1 YouTube video and be done with it. Commit yourself to actually studying and practicing. Get courses, watch videos, listen to other people in that niche, etc.
3. Pick a target audience: Now you have a skill and you’re pretty good at it, pick your target audience. It’s as simple as picking who you’re going to perform that skill for. Conversion rate optimization for fitness coaches. SEO for agency owners. Tiktok ads for course creators. It’s as easy as just picking a select group of people who need your skill.
4. Identify their problems: You need to take into consideration if the audience you just picked goals requires your solutions. A fitness coach who doesn’t have a website wouldn’t need conversion rate optimization. An agency owner who doesn’t use email marketing wouldn’t need a copywriter to write their emails for them. So when you pick your audience, take into consideration their goals and then if your skill could directly solve problems they have when trying to achieve those goals. Ask Chat-GPT, ask your audience directly, and research on forums. Just find their goal, find what they’re doing to achieve it, and then see if your skill can be a solution.
5. Craft an offer: Your offer has already been crafted for you. Skill + Niche + Audience. I help fitness creators generate more leads by optimizing their website’s conversion rate. I revamp agency owner’s lead generation by providing full in-house SEO services. I make course creators an extra $10,000 a month with optimized email sequences. You tell people what you do, you tell them who it’s for, you tell them how you do it and you tell them what results you can get them.
Days 30 to 60.
1. Pick a profile picture: Pick a nice headshot. Something that shows your face.
2. Make a banner: Pick a nice image and then convey your niche/offer with some text. You just summarise your offer.
3. Write a bio: Your bio should start with a small achievement, then tell people your offer using the offer you just made above, and then a link which you won’t have yet to a product, landing page or book a call page, etc.
4. Follow a bunch of people: Please only follow people whose content you enjoy. You don’t need to follow your target audience or any specific people. Just follow people who you like and whose content you like.
5. Start writing some content: I would just start writing 1 to 2 tweets per day. I would make one about your skill and one about yourself. So the one about your skill should be you giving advice, solving a problem, or sharing information. The one about yourself should be a personal story, a personal opinion, or a personal take.
6. Engage like a crazy person: You should be commenting as much as possible. 200+ comments per day. You should be leaving comments that are your genuine thoughts and opinions and leaving them because you want to, not because I’m telling you to. But it isn’t hard because you should be enjoying the interactions. You should be leaving comments that you want to leave. Reply to everyone you can, reply to people who reply to you, and have fun with it. And just do that throughout the day.
7. Solidify engagements in the DMs: It’s best to hit up those you’ve been talking with on the timeline. Just a little gratitude for the engagement and then just talk to them as if you’re already friends.
8. Repeat: Repeat 5, 6 & 7 for the rest of the days and for as long as you’re on X. These are foundational basics and will never stop working. They’re also the main drivers of engagement and growth, so never stop doing them.
Days 60 to 90.
1. Increase the volume of content: Maybe 2 to 5 tweets per day. Do a nice 50/50 split. 50% value content that solves your audience’s problem. 50% personal content that talks about you and your story.
2. Work for free for a testimonial:
a. Find people who require your service.
b. Do whatever work you’d do for them to help them.
c. Don’t go overboard, just a snippet of what you’d do.
i. So let’s say you do web design, and you can help someone increase their conversion rates on their website. Just do a quick wireframe or mockup of what you’d change on their site and send it to them. If you’re doing copywriting, write them a new piece of copy for their landing page and tell them it will help them get more leads. You’re doing this to build trust and credibility. Tell them they can have it on the house, and if they use it and get results from it drop you a quick testimonial.
d. Once someone uses and likes your free work, ask them if they’d be down to jump on a quick call so you can see if you can give them the full package.
e. You do the work for free, you send it over to them, and make sure they’re happy.
f. Then collect the testimonial, and make sure it’s a video, text is fine too but a video is better.
3. Write authority content: Take your target audience’s biggest problem[s]. Write content that solves those problems by using you. By using you I mean your experience in solving that problem. Now do that on a consistent daily basis.
4. Communicate with your target audience: After a while, providing you’re also engaging with them, you’ll notice that your target audience will start to engage with your authority content. So along with engaging with people on the timeline. You should be engaging with your target audience on the timeline and the ones who interact with your content. Just a reply when they reply is fine for now.
5. Break the ice: Hit them up in the DMs and say something along the lines of. “Hey man, thanks for the engagement on my recent stuff. It helps”. Or if you’ve just been talking to them under other people’s content. “Hey bro, been loving the conversations on the timeline with you so just wanted to drop by and say hello”. Have some small talk and then pivot your conversation towards their problems. Hit them with the “So how is your [what they do that you know they need help with] journey going?”
6. Solve their problem fully: Don’t tell them how to do it. Just tell them what you would personally do. But tell them everything. 100% free. So when you do this, their guard goes down and they trust you much more because you’ve just given them the keys to their handcuffs.
7. Propose a call: “So I just had a client who had the same problem you’re having and we solved it pretty easily. Wanna jump on a call and see if I can help you more with it?”
8. Sell the implementation of that solution: That solution you just gave to them, tell them you’ll personally do it for them until you get them results.
Close: Send them the payment link, and get paid.
9. Do the work: Make sure you go above and beyond and make this the best piece of work you’ve ever done.
10. Send and collect: Send the work over, and ask them for a testimonial if they’re happy with it.
11. Repeat: Post your testimonial. Tell people to DM you if they want the same results. Keep posting authority content. Keep engaging with and talking with your target audience.
