28/3/2020 our param pujanio Supreme Leader tweeted asking to contribute to the newly formed #PMCaresFund
Our PM cares for us so much. With a barge of tears in my eyes I slept forgetting the existing PMNRF. 😮‍💨
Plz Stay as it was next level of #ElectoralBondScam 1/18🧵
As the already existing PMNRF question raised Why another fund?
Activists filed RTI seeking the Trust deed. Anti-nationals. 😤
Firstly this was not answered then later it announced PM CARES was a Pvt Trust, no public authority i.e. no scrutiny, not Govt.
Understood? 🤨 2/18
But it was not clear then how it could take foreign money as it was allowed but for others, the eligibility was having been active for at least 3 years. 🙃
Also legally none of its trustees can have a criminal case pending. Here one of the trustees was MOTA BHAI. 😎 3/18
Further, it was also exempted from the filing of quarterly reports under FCRA. How?
However, In May 2020, the Companies Act was amended with retrospective effect for donations that had already been received. 😂
Also, the donations were counted against CSR. 4/18
This was under the rule that 'contribution to any fund set up by the Central Govt for socio-economic development & relief qualifies as CSR expenditure.
CSR - Corporate Social Responsibility.
But this would also bring this fund under RTI.
P. Chidambaram tweeted asking. 5/18
Activist Anjali Bhardwaj filed RTI to diff Ministries on PM CARES,
Cabinet Sec in reply revealed that there was no agenda item in any Cabinet meeting specifically related to the creation of the PM-CARES fund chaired by PM & 3 Cabinet Mins among trustees.

In July 2020 the ruling BJP stopped the Public Accounts Committee or PAC one of the most important parliamentary panels to scrutinise the PM CARES FUND.
Modiji ne kiya hai, kuch soch samjh ke hi kiya hoga. 🤗
Now the PMO stopped answering the RTI queries on PM CARES. 7/18
Later it found the PM CARES would not be audited by the Govt machinery but an external auditor SARC & Associates headed by Sunil Kr Gupta.
Gupta ji earlier appeared in TV to educate on Modiji's nation building. Also a member of 'Rashtriya Antodaya Sangh'. 🚩 😎 8/18
Also accused of coercing Govt employees contributing into PM-Cares.
A Govt circular 17/04/20 said unless individuals had 'objection to recover' a day wage would be deducted from their salaries & sent to PM CARES.
Employees had given no choice of PMNRF. Remember? 9/18
Armed Forces - 203 crores
PSU Banks - 204 crore
Teachers & other Central Educational institutions - 21 Crore.
From their salaries.
38 Govt firms incl ONGC, Indian Oil & NTPC -2100 crore.
Whose money were all these actually? Few people questioned but who listens.👇🏽 10/18
Chinese Firms contributions
TikTok - 30 Crores
Huawei - 7 crore
Xiaomi - 15 Crore
etc.
Paytm with 38% Chinese stake gave 100 crore. Modiji loves digital as we know. 🙃
However, do u remember the date of the Galwan incident?
20 soldiers live? 15th June 2020. 11/18
The same ruling BJP attacked the Congress terribly after in 2020 it revealed that in 2005 Rajiv Gandhi Foundation received a donation from the Chinese.
13/05/2020 the PMO published an official release on the website of the Govt of India’s PIB.
100 Crores. Read. 👇🏽 12/18
Curious about where the promised Rs 100 crore had gone, transparency campaigner & Indian Navy veteran Commodore Lokesh Batra had filed an RTI with the Min of Health & Family Welfare.
The Quint also made an exclusive story on it. Questioned all Mins.
Answer not found. 13/18
A Gujarat Firm claimed to have developed ventilation in 10 days was given contact for 5000 ventilators paid from PM Cares.
These machines turned out to be dud. This firm was linked to the individual who gifted Modiji the famous suit with his name in pinstripes. 14/18
The PM Cares website said that it had allocated Rs. 2000 crores for the supply of 50000 'Make in India' ventilators. It turned out that contracts were given to firms that had no experience in making these Medical instruments.
All the links are shared in the end. May read. 15/18
Activist Anjali Bharadwaj's another RTI revealed that there was a gap in pricing of these ventilators.
Some Firms at 1.66 lakh
Some at 8.62 lakh.
Must be noted PM Cares was loaded with Govt PSU & employees contributions i.e. public money. 16/18
Crores of rupees was paid in advance for ventilators to parties who were chosen to deliver Ventilators but when delivered found not usable.
In Baroda in Sept 2020 a ventilator caught fire. Around 40 patients narrowly escaped death. 17/18
Time and again several leaders, activists have raised questions over the nature of the entity of PM Cares.
Transparency' does not match MODI. Be that #Rafale or #ElectoralBondsCase or #PMCaresFund
PM Modi was never answerable, neither PM cares about citizens it seems. 18/18
