This demand was 1st raised in 2013 & AS USUAL... Maunmohan Govt had come under pressure at 9th Ministerial Conference (MC9) in Bali and agreed to a βPEACE CLAUSE" as an interim solution for the public stockholding for food security.

UPA Govt added that they will facilitate withdrawal of Protection to Bharat's Farmers by MC-11 in 2017.
It was agreed that βpeace clause" which was final thread supporting India's MSP program would remain in force till MC 11 in 2017.
