Tired of spending hours every day on crypto research?
Cut your research time in half with these tools so you can focus on the next big play.

1/ Summarizing Videos with AI
There is a lot of alpha in podcasts and community calls, but it can be really time consuming to watch.
However, you can use Gemini to summarize videos for you. As far as I know, this is the only major AI tool I found that can do this.
2/ On the topic of AI, I also tried to see if Grok could do basic social sentiment analysis on X to see what is trending and results seem somewhat promising,
I know there is an update coming in a few weeks so this could even improve over time.
3/ Website Ranking
While most people focus on TVL as a measure of success, I have found that website traffic offers a unique method of gauging attention with a project.
Semrush is a good tool to get started with website traffic analysis.
4/ Few things to note
- When you search a project, make sure to search for the app page, not the landing page.
- The main metric I look for is organic traffic which can be filtered based on time frame. If you are looking for momentum, try to find an uptrend here.
5/ Trends
Another tool I have been experimenting with in terms of narratives, this helps you identify whether the search traffic interest for a specific narrative is trending up or down.
You can make this as broad or specific as you like.
6/ Checking Coingecko
If you miss out on most new momentum plays, Coingecko has a gainers and losers section that shows you the major price changes in Crypto.
If you want more recent changes, you can use the hourly time frame. Otherwise, the daily time frame is a solid start.
7/ I look for projects that stand out to me and fit my personal strategy. For example, I see that Spell pumped heavily over the past day. From here, I start looking into why.
- Is there a catalyst involved?
- Why did this project pump?
- Could this pump continue?
8/ DeFiLlama extension
Few know that DeFiLlama has a cool extension that gives you more information on wallets on Etherscan and helps protect you against potential fake websites or profiles.
Just make sure you get the extension off the official site.
9/ Raises
If you want one place to be updated on funding rounds, Llama has your back.
Raises are one of the more reliable indicators of token drops because early investors want to realize profit and token launches are usually the most efficient means to do this.
10/ Lore Explore
Lore is a blockchain explorer that allows you to create custom notifications for anything on chain.
For example, if you like to trade new pairs you can create a story that notifies you when a liquidity pool surpasses a custom volume threshold.
11/ By creating custom notifications, you don't need to spend as much time checking on the market to stay updated.
Simply set your parameters and get notified at regular intervals. This works for lending positions, LP stats, new pairs, etc.
11/ Governance Updates
I bring up this governor tool too often, but let me show you how I use it.
Today I found out that Frax is discussing merging FPIS with veFXS, Synapse has a discussion up for reducing emissions by 30%. and Uniswap is discussing adding token utility.
12/ Also look at who is introducing the proposal.
Proposals brought up by notable members are more likely to pass compared to the average user.
Find catalysts for projects before most others by just spending a few minutes daily to stay updated.
I have done collabs with Lore a while back.
