Christensen is doing what Romeu was meant to do.
He doesn't have to be flashy, just efficient. Keep it simple, keep it ticking, cover the space & the less we know you exist, the better.
Definitely less is more kind of thing.
Solid audition so far.

He's got some jitters and a heavy touch, which has definitely affected Barcelona's tempo.
But he got progressively more comfortable laying the ball off to the free man. That's a good sign.
Still seems a bit stiff and lanky in the way he moves, though.
But... a decent half. 🤙

Frenkie de Jong on the other hand, IS Barcelona's whole first phase.
Say what you want about him, his wages, his influence, the expectations, his defending, whatever...
But he gets Barcelona up the pitch singlehandedly.

Anyway, that's why I keep defending the Romeu signing.
You see how a profile matters? Romeu's profile made sense; he's not supposed to be elite-tier mid in a double pivot with Frenkie.
And the Girona Romeu was not sloppy. He was tidy, consistent and reliable.
He regressed tho.
