2. Rooftop Solarization
Govt focus on solar energy is world known!
• 20% population lacks electricity access
• PM Suryodaya Yojana to solarize 1 cr household rooftops to enable 300 unit free electricity access
(Special focus: Rural areas)

3. Oil Seeds Revolution
Vegetable oil economy: US>China>Brazil>India
(India 4th largest)
• 🇮🇳 imports edible oil worth ₹1,35,000 cr pa
• Aim: reduce dependency from 60% to 30% by 2029
Thus, budget speaks about raising oil seed production!

4. Deep tech in defense
• ₹1,00,000 cr for RnD in defense tech
• Focus on developing robot soldiers & exoskeletons
Not too far from robots replacing human soldiers in tough places like Siachen, Kutch & Jaisalmer

5. Cervical Cancer Vaccine
Common cancers in Indian women:
Breast Cancer>Cervical Cancer
• Caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
• Low awareness & limited access keeps HPV high
• Viksit Bharat aims to eliminate HPV; vaccination for girls 9-14 yrs age
