How can #Hinduism be considered "Dharma", when it promotes vile practices like child marriage (or so we r taught) Is it really a contribution of Sanatan Dharma?

/11 India got Sarda Act in 1929, later called CMRA, it banned marriage of girls under 15 & boys under 18. In 1978, the minimum age was raised to 18 for girls & 21 for boys. The Prohibition of Child Marriages Act (2006) upholds this.
/11 but what if i tell you that we had provisions making child marriages invalid way before that?
/11 #Manusmriti Ch. 3, V. 2: After studying Vedas in Brahmacharya stage (upto 25), one should enter Grihastha stage (married life).
/11 Ch. 9, V. 90 suggests marriage should occur at least 3 years after the first menstrual cycle, indicating maturity.
/11 V. 89 emphasizes that even if a girl remains unmarried until death, she should not marry someone lacking good qualities.
/11 Gautam Dharmasutra states one should remain in Brahmacharya stage until completion of Vedic studies.
/11 Sushruta suggests youth begins at 25, considered 25-40 an appropriate time for marriage.
/11 In Rigveda, Lopamudra suggests after proper education in Brahmacharya stage, a young woman should get married.
/11 Suryasavitri suggests marriage should occur only when a girl is physically mature to conceive and bear healthy child.
/11 so Who is responsible for child marriage? Is it a corrupt society, individuals who exploit others, or dharma? What do you think?
