It's well known that @Netanyahu doesn't like long wars or battles between wars. In this one, Ben-Gvir will gain more support from radicals if he withdraws. If Bibi resumes the attack, he will lose more men, many more, with no gain, and will lose his head at the end of the war.
@netanyahu Until this Sunday night, @Netanyahu will try his best to avoid the war most wanted by the extremist radicals in his government. If he fails, #Israel's war is expected to start again on Monday unless more captives are exchanged.
@netanyahu Many #Israel/i officials want to improve its military position and believe it can make some gains on the ground in #Gaza to strengthen its negotiating position, which is currently very weak with no gains.
If #Israel continues the war, it won't improve its situation on the ground and it will gain nothing but more officers and soldiers killed and captured. Moreover, the world will be against Israel and the Israelis will have no support from "friendly" Western leaders.
