⬆️ Installed capacity surged from 7,778 MW (2014-15) to 18,567 MW (2023 May) and will soon cross 25,000 MW.
⬆️ Solar power skyrocketed from 74 MW (2014-15) to 5,347 MW (2023 May).
⬆️ Per capita consumption jumped from 1,196 units to 2,140 units, 70% more than the national average.
🔹These incredible feats were achieved by formulating long-term, medium-term, and short-term plans under the able leadership of CM KCR.
🔹To strengthen and expand the power network, the BRS government has set up new substations, transformers. New distribution lines have been added.
🔹In addition to providing free power to 27.49 lakh agriculture motors, the state government is also supplying free power up to 50 units for domestic consumers, up to 101 units to SC and ST consumers, and up to 250 units to hair saloons, laundry shops, and dhobi ghats.
