This is earliest depiction available where Shiva is shown as intoxicated while Parvati offers him a cup of Drink. Even Parvati's vehicle Lion seems high.
What is he intoxicated with is not clear.
But Shiva still remains colorless.

in this painting from 1800+, Shiva is helping a relatively helpless Parvati who is seeing holding Kartikeya, they are show descending peak of Mount Kailasa.
Preceding the Holy Family strides Nandisvara, Shiva's monkey attendant, carrying a bundle of their belongings wrapped in a 'leopard' skin bag on his head. Nandi the Bull follows slowly, cautiously carrying the baby Ganesha.
Apparently, the artist has in his mind to take away Parvati's vehicle and make her weak.
