In mountainous Debre Damo region of Ethiopia in interior; 104 coins of Kushana rulers of North Bharat. Date by Mukthar (1990) is c 200 CE. Ref UNESCO General History of Africa- Vol II
Seal from Bharat of debatable origin has been found in Adulis/ Zula in Eritrea (Bottom Right)
Berbera in Somaliland gets mentioned as Barvvara next to Parasa in 1050 CE inscription frm Mysore as countries where the great merchant guild of medieval Chozha/Chola period- Ainnurruvar/swamis of Ayyavole had influence. Ref: U N Ghoshal (1957); Struggle for Empire.
Intriguingly; inscription of 1077 CE of Kalyani Chalukya emperor; Vikramaditya VI mentions Barbara as his conquest. Historians dismiss this with place in Karnataka; Broach or exaggeration. But no other Chalukyan record calles any region in Bharat as "Barbara". Ref: Ganguly/1957
