Once upon a time I was denied an Education Loan by a bank in Maharashtra for my engineering admission.(I had 108 marks in AIEEE in 2009)..

"Altap you are a genius student. We will give you the loan. Just tell me what is the profession of your father?"
I replied in happiness,
"Mechanic. He is a mechanic sir."
Manager asked,
"Which government department?"
I clarified,

"Sir he is a bike mechanic(Mistry) .We have a small 2-wheeler Garage in the City."
My father was with me, with a broken chappal and greesy blue apron used in repair work.
With a sense of disgust, the manager showed me my place saying,
"You won't get the loan. You may leave now."

Manager was adamant. He asked me to leave again so that he could see his Wealthy clients who were waiting outside.
My father said to me,
"Let's go. Your dream is to be an Officer. Let's find a cheaper way to reach that goal. Let's go."
Then I looked at the Manager and said.

Then I looked at the Manager and said.
"Sir,
I will take the name of my father with pride. I will tell the world that -Yes ..My father is a bike mechanic and I am extremely proud of Him"..
I left the bank and promised my father ki I will reach the goal, even if I don't get money for doing my engineering..
