Earlier this year, my farm invested in the production of broiler day old chicks by procuring 1000 female Arbor Acre Breeder Parent Stock and 100 male from CHI Farms Ltd.
The target is to churn out 4500 quality broiler day old chicks on a weekly basis.

However,over the last 30 weeks of rearing phase,we are inundaunted with so many challenges facing the poultry industry.Alot was spent on reconstruction of the dilapidated cage house and battery cage repairs

To achieve all this feat, nothing less than 15 million Naira has been expended on procurement, feeding, vaccination and infrastructure.
This humongous fund is about to sink down the drain as we are struggling to keep up with the demand to feed these lovely birds on a daily basis.

We require about NGN400,000 to feed the birds on a weekly basis, this high feeding cost is as a result of the increase in price of feed inputs especially maize and Soy bean meal

Birds are laying good eggs as projected weekly and our first hatch will be out by the 27th of August,2023.We must continue to feed and care for the birds if we must maintain the laying efficiency of the birds
