1. Motivation isn’t enough
Sure, you can hit the gym, do deep work, & get in your ice bath when you’re motivated
But can you do it on your bad days?
The days you don’t want to do it?
You need something that will push you through the days when motivation is nowhere to be seen

2. It’s your life, take accountability
Goggins was failing high school & already failed the ASVAB.
Life was going downhill - until he took accountability.
He realised that his actions were responsible for his outcomes
The same goes for you.
This is your life. Take the wheel.

3. Lead from the front
A good leader deals with challenges head-on, enduring pain, and finding solutions.
Often we wait for others to lead.
Instead, be the leader of your own life.
Be the one to lead, to inspire, to endure.

4. Build your cookie jar
We’ve all been through shit in our lives.
Take each bit of pain, each trauma, and through it in a mental cookie jar.
When you want to quit, reach into that cookie jar
And realise if you’ve made it through that pain, you can make it through this.

5. Don’t sugarcoat anything
Sugarcoating a situation does nothing but hide the truth.
It stops you from understanding what you need to do to make progress.
Yes, it’s tough.
Yes, it’s uncomfortable.
But brutal honesty allows for clarity and clarity creates action.

6. Earn your place
Every day is a fresh slate.
The world doesn’t care what you did yesterday.
Prove yourself today.
Work out. Jump in an ice bath. Do your deep work.
Earn your place - especially when you don’t feel like it.

7. Be uncommon in your own world
You don’t have to be Goggins, Musk, or Schwarzenegger
But you owe it to yourself and the one life you get on earth to chase mastery
Challenge yourself, raise the bar daily, fail often, & win big
You owe it to yourself to chase your potential
