I made $15,000 last month selling Notion templates.
I have 0 employees.
How I built a full-fledged online business with Notion (in 10 steps):
1/ 24 months ago, I was introduced to Notion by my brother using it for his university notetaking.
I organized my entire life in Notion on a weekend.
I started sharing my dashboards and builds in communities and groups.
Here's my first template ever:
2/ The response was crazy, so 12 months later I decided to pursue it as a business.
I saw other creators building in public on Twitter, so I decided: if they can, so can I.
I studied them and learned what worked and what didn't.
3/ I started building a community of likeminded Notion enthusiasts and grew my Twitter following.
Concurrently, I kept building and launching Notion templates on Producthunt.
Slowly I started building up revenue and word of mouth.
4/ In the Notion community I started to get mentioned alongside great creators like @heyeaslo
My unfair advantage was that I focused on having a unique brand voice and standing out.
This helped me get noticed in a sea of other Notion creators.
5/ If you're still unsure what Notion templates actually are, you can see all the ones I built here:

6/ By staying consistent with creating content on Twitter and pushing new product, I started to see the results.
And with every template I built, my knowledge of Notion got bigger and bigger.
But how did I scale to $14,000/month?
7/ Simple. By creating more advanced and beautiful designs, I was able to charge more for my templates.
After raising my prices, I also shifted my focus on getting traffic.
I distributed my products everywhere possible to get as many eyeballs as possible.
8/ I doubled down on email marketing and started sending emails to my growing list every time I launched.
Furthermore, I never hesitated to network, connect and help anyone who asked me.
9/ Notion templates are a low-maintenance, high-profit digital product that you can sell an infinite times.
You build the product once and sell it as many times as you can.
10/ If you're considering if there's room for more people to sell Notion templates, don't worry.
In a crowded market there's always room for the exceptional.
If you're interested to learn the details on how I did it, I created this guide:
