If you use crypto on-chain, you've probably used @etherscan to track transactions and addresses before.
But Etherscan has dozens of less-known tools and features to turn you into an on-chain pro.
Here are 5 features of Etherscan that you probably don't know about ๐Ÿงต
Etherscan's new Code Reader feature (still in beta) leverages OpenAI to analyze smart contracts.
Use this to ask questions about what specific smart contracts do, how you can interact with them, and how it works.
Note that you'll need an OpenAI API key.
The Etherscan Charts & Stats page has key information on Ethereum network activity:
-Daily transactions
-Daily ERC-20 token transfers
-Daily gas used
-Daily active Ethereum addresses
And much more.
To access this page select 'Resources' > 'Charts and Stats' in the menu.
Use Etherscan's Ethereum Gas Tracker to find the current price of various on-chain actions and to also estimate confirmation time of transactions, based on gas price.
To access this select 'More' > 'Gas Tracker' in the menu.
If you want to dive deeper into an address's activity, the Etherscan Export CSV feature has you covered.
1) Go to 'More' > 'CSV Export'
2) Enter the address you wish to track
3) Download transactions, token transfers, or various other forms of data
NFT enthusiasts out there can use Etherscan to track trending NFT mints.
Go to 'NFTs' > 'Top Mints' in the menu.
There you can see the most active mints on a 1m, 3m, 5m, 15m, 20m and 1h timeframe.
