Indians are dying to live in Canada & 2 million have already migrated
But Canadians are trying to leave their own country!
The SHOCKING part? More people fled Canada in the last quarter of 2021 than in any year since 1970s
Here’s why the Canadian dream turned into a nightmare:
Gone are the days when Roti, Kapda and Makaan (food, clothing and Shelter) was enough for living.
Today, the generation wants more than just that.
When the opportunities don’t knock on the door in one’s own land, migration becomes the last resort.
Among the most famous immigrant destinations, Canada is just 2nd to USA that accepts the highest number of immigrants in the world.
Last year, Canada admitted more than 437,000 new permanent residents in the country — 118,095 Indians.
Number of Indians migrating to Canada has tripled since 2020!
It’s a popular choice among students moving abroad due to its quality education, friendly visa & immigration rules, & better life prospects.
The offers sounds attractive but as dreamy as it may look, it's all a scam.
The Canadian dream is delusional — something people realize when it’s too late to step back.
At least 30% of immigrants now want to leave Canada but can’t.
Problem? They are too burdened by the debt they have taken to live this dream.
Moreover, it isn't just immigrants who want to leave Canada. Native Canadians also seek to flee the country.
But what’s happening in Canada?
Why are people taking such a drastic step?
See most people who travel to Canada are either students who are looking for an extra income or immigrants who want to improve their standard of living but with low-skilled jobs.
The problem with that is — the market is filled with such people.
There is an excess availability of low-skilled workers compared to demand.
Thus, wages in this sector stay at minimum and even cause it to plum.
To rub the salt in wound, the cost of living in Canada is high.
Even though on paper the unemployment rate in Canada is fairly low
— about 5%, it does not account for people looking for better paid jobs.
So, unwantedly people end up settling for low-paid jobs just to survive.
When you study abroad or migrate for work, it's usually with the hope of giving yourself and your family a better life.
But how are you going to do that when you're struggling to make ends meet?
Even if you are well educated, work hard, and let’s say pick up a second job — you are still poor in Canada because everything there costs a fortune!
It’s not even about working hard or being lazy, it’s about the way the system is set-up.
All your money goes in paying taxes, rent, and food — no savings!
For that fact, consider the real-estate and housing scenario.
Cities like Toronto are densely populated.
The median monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment reaches $2478 where the average salary stands at just $3500 per month
— which means you have to allocate a large chunk of your salary just for rent!
Now, you can move to low density provinces, but those are the places that experience extreme cold weathers thought the year.
It can be unbearable if you are not a native Canadian.
So, you are left with no choice but look for opportunities outside Canada.
Finding an affordable house is a real struggle. The housing crises is getting worse day-by-day.
And the government seems be doing nothing about it.
It is corrupt and arrogant at all levels.
Instead of working towards improving the country, they are focused on staying in power longer and make money.
A recent analysis from the Global Burden of Disease Study showed that Canada was in the top 10% of the 195 countries.
But the thing is — this Medicare system is slowly becoming unsustainable.
See, Canadians are ageing rapidly.
The life expectancy in Canada is 82 years — top 14 in the world. The no. of people aged 65 and over has almost touched 7 million.
But Canada designed its health care system around young people. It was established to deal largely with acute, episodic care for a relatively young population.
Today the system struggles to properly care for patients
— many of whom are elderly — managing complex and ongoing health issues.
Well this is one reason why Canada was one country hit severely during COVID-19 pandemic and are still coping up with it.
Even with so many mishappenings, Canada is welcoming more and more immigrants. Why?
Because Canada relies heavily on immigration for population growth.
Its fertility rate has steadily declined over time, reaching a record low of 1.4 children per woman in 2020.
Canada also experienced the lowest number of births since 2007.
A country’s inhabitants are what drive its national spending and consumption.
Every country requires a strong labor force to ensure consistent production of goods and delivery of services.
This immigration-driven population growth has been significantly beneficial for Canada’s labor force.
Immigrants in the country account for 79.9% of national workforce growth.
As more new immigrants become employed, earn money, and subsequently spend money that goes back into the economy, Canada’s economy will continue developing positively.
But the immigrant policy in Canada is designed in a way that takes advantage of newcomers, exploiting their hard-earned savings and utilizing them as inexpensive labor until they become disheartened and eventually choose to leave.
It’s for you to think now whether all this hardships worth living on survival mode?!
