Almost all the money collected as tax from Hindu temples is spent on minority appeasement.All Haj tours were fully subsidized from temple collection. This included air fares accommodation expenses,food insurance &miscellaneous expenses Haj House maintenance came from temple tax++
collections. Madarsas were funded from these collections. Education expenses of girls from the minority community, including mid-day meals were paid for out of the temple collection. In 2017, it was decided to phase out Haj subsidy by 2018 in pursuance of a Supreme Court order++
of 2012, but that happened only in 2021 and not in its entirety. In a way, Hindu temple taxes were funding Muslim ventures.Temples are not just places of worship, they create a cycle of huge economic activity, in trade, construction, manufacturing, use of farm produces, +++
transport, tourism, health, hospitality industry &many more employing laks of people. They them selves enmass billions of rupees that are used by the Govt.&create wealth&jobs as reffered above. What the govt spends on temples is pittance, they are not even giving minimum wages ++
prescribed by the state to employees of the temples. Temples and Religious Mutts are also centres of education and health, maintaining and managing hundreds of such institutions

TN gov routinely takes the the temple gold. Even this year after coming to power the first thing the local party did was — claim state has no money to run and claim all temple gold. Already 33,000 cr worth of gold was melted in a matter of weeks till some one filed a ++
case and the courts asked them to temporarily halt the melting process.
Apparently state gov still had money to give 5000 tons of rice to mosques for free for making biryani during ramzan but dint have money to run the gov and needed temple gold..🙏🏼
