Narcisstic abuse is at its core, spiritual warfare, b/c a person w/out an ability to generate their own self esteem & regulate their emotions uses you as a source to do so. As they get stronger, your self identity diminishes, b/c they vampirically suck your life force out of you.

The narcissist spell binds you, keeping you at first in an addictive high of the shared fantasy w/ lovebombing & false promises, but as the relationship progresses, your nervous system & intuition start alerting you to the contradiction of their words with their actions.

But now you’re in a full fledged addiction to the push/pull of the relationship & even w/ outright abuse present, you will chase the lovebombing highs you once felt, like an addict seeking their next hit. You have unknowingly co-opted your self esteem & made them your God.

Once you realize what you’ve embedded yourself in, this is where the chance for real spiritual work & growth comes in. You will either remain an addict in a fantasy, the Wendy to their Peter Pan or you will break out of the fantasy, face reality, & find out who you really are.
