The next drive takes me to Akosombo, camping with a view of the Adomi(Adome) bridge ๐ on the shores of River Volta.

This bridge has a story - That president JJ Rawlings flew a jet fighter under Adomi Bridge in an acrobatic upside down position. A top airforce officer.
There are even exaggerations as to the motive and who was in the jet/ or plane as some claim.

This is another of the Volta area, the Wli Waterfalls, beautiful nature. I went for a day hike to take in the views from the top. Accross the mountains is Togo, you've to be careful which way you step as you may end up in another country :)

Cocoa in Ghana, Geography classes in Primary sch.
And here I visited some cocoa forests, cracked some cocoa and enjoyed the tasty thing.
These trees were actually on some roadside, same with Mangoes here. A tree here, another there and some are free for all.

I even met a guys who keeps this monkey as a pet, does specific wood work carvings and sells 'energy' drinks for men ๐ช
