#Magid is not the first Islamist infiltration in USCIRF. Former USCIRF Commissioner, Pakistani origin Khizr Khan (Aug 2021- May 2022) was also accused of being an MB agent. While he denied the accusations, he has also been a regular face at ISNA events.

Islamist infiltration of USCIRF began at least in 2013–when Jamaat/MB nexus realized power of lobbying (read $). First ‘Indian’ American Muslim Council(IAMC) hired lobby firm in 2013– FGR– whose head Terry Allen had worked with Nadine Maenza, former USCIRF Chair(2018-22)!

There is this interesting commonality between Hasan and Akins. Both Policy Analysts traveled to India under the same US Govt’s ‘Critical Language Scholarship’ to study Urdu, both to the same institute in Lucknow (UP). Akins in 2016, Hasan in 2021!

In other words, USCIRF is likely designating its Policy Analysts for India, sending them to India bypassing the Indian govt's stipulation on USCIRF; and once they return, ‘officially’ inducting them into USCIRF – whence they write a report blacklisting India.
