This actually doesn’t surprise me [**former M•A•C Artist here**], M•A•C Cosmetics has based their Viva Glam campaign on the alphabet community since their inception.
They actually kicked off their Viva Glam campaign utilizing RuPaul as the collection face in 1994.
What I find fascinating (but not surprising) is the earmarked evidence that M•A•C is just another corporation that mirrors market trend.
When I worked at M•A•C in the early 2000’s, the slogan used to be “All Ages, All Races, All 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝗲𝘀”
They changed it recently to “All Ages, All Races, All 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀".
FYI M•A•C and Benefit both collaborated to fund Planned Parenthood… 💔💔💔
