✨ Become a Frontend Web Developer 2023✨
➩ Design Principles
⧠ You don't need to be a pro designer, but you need to understand the basics of designing
• Color Combinations
• Typography etc...
⧠ In most situations, you might have a designer but you should have a basic understanding
You are making it for the User
➩ HTML
⧠ As you already know you need HTML for any website. You should know it
You should know
✓ Semantics
✓ Basic HTML Layouts
✓ Inline Elements
✓ Block elements
⧠ You should at the very least, should have a small idea about every HTML topic
➩ CSS
⧠ All your HTML belongs to CSS. CSS is a vast area
✓ CSS basics (height, width)
✓ Box Sizing (Margin, Padding, Border)
✓ Flex
✓ Grid
✓ Media Queries
⧠ You need to understand properly, without that you can't survive as a frontend developer
Practice & Practice
➩ CSS Animations.
There are many libraries for bringing some cool animations on your website but yeah having good knowledge is a fair thing.
Modern websites have some kind of micro animations everywhere.
➩ JavaScript
⧠ The Prince of web development, Javascript can bring life to your website making it interactive
✓ Basic Programming (variables, loops, conditions)
✓ Operators
✓ Datatypes
✓ Functions, Classes, objects
✓ DOM Manipulation
✓ Async Await Fetch
An idea about almost every Javascript topic is needed.
You don't need to by heart everything, Just understand the Pattern and be good at googling.
While Learning JavaScript, try TypeScript as well.
➩ Any Javascript Libraries or Frameworks
✓ React ➩ Next
✓ Angular
✓ Vue
⧠ Pick one which you are comfortable with
➩ CSS Libraries/Utility Libraries
✓ Tailwind CSS
✓ Bootstrap
✓ Bulma
⧠ You can choose the best that fits you.
I am a super-duper fan of Tailwind CSS
At this stage, you will understand you need to learn more😁
⧠ A Developer always learns, Keep that in mind
You will have to learn some additional tools to satisfy your clients
One of the trends I see on all the new websites, they are more engaging.
Most of them have a 3D experience, more kind of a walkthrough of a product.
Neomorphic, Monochromatic, and Glassmorphic websites are trending these days.
Most websites are visually appealing and instead of saying it, they are showing it.
Frontend development will be in demand even though some AI tools can build cool designs.
I will be more focusing on WebGL and 3D on the web.
That's it
