🧵Seasonal Tendency° [Pro+]🧵
A friend of mine introduced me to the challenge of visualizing Seasonal Tendencies in TradingView a couple months back. I have been using and coding them since.
Worked hard to code a tool that ICT traders could easily use.
Let me show it to you:
Seasonal Tendencies can be used to analyze various pairs and entire asset classes.
When compared to each other, or combined with the underlying orderflow and narrative, they help traders narrow down specific times of the year when big moves are more likely to occur. ⏲️
A Seasonal Tendency is a historical pattern or roadmap that reflects how price action has behaved in the past during specific time periods.
It's not an absolute guarantee of future price movements, rather a tool to identify potential high-probability long-term trades and biases.
The Seasonal Tendency° [Pro+] will allow traders to gain access to seasonal data for ANY market, right on TradingView!
This is a powerful tool if used right, as taught by ICT in Month 5 of Core Content. 👁️💎
Let's get a deeper look at how it looks, and most importantly, works:
This tool can display FIVE different Seasonal Tendencies:
🟨5 Year Seasonal
🟧10 Year Seasonal
🟥15 Year Seasonal
🟫30 Year Seasonal
⬛️ All Time Seasonal
Monthly and Quarterly dividers can be shown as well, allowing you to have clear points of reference.
I made sure to make this customizable, so you can pick which ones to see. You can see, study, and use them separately.
The tool can also move be moved to a new pane, and have it ready to go, but out of the way. 🔥
While overlayed on chart, you can identify how price is moving compared to its seasonal very conveniently.
Here $GC deviated from its All Time seasonal, which could have been a sign of manipulation, and alert to look for potential Long Term buys when backed up by narrative.
A couple other Features:
– Display previous years' Seasonal Tendencies and see how price moved in relation to them;
– Choose the candle data point to calculate the Seasonal Tendency;
– Use it in Replay Mode, backtest them with ease.
I take away Time from my development as a trader to create tools that help ICT traders Level Up.
My tools won't make you profitable if you aren't already, but will add an extra weapon or two to your arsenal in this fierce war.
Feeling very grateful and humbled by the support I have been receiving, and will continue to provide tools for ICT traders in the future, as well as teaching a bit of what I learnt in PineScript over the years 🫶
Majority will be free, little will be offered on a subscription.
I thought about stopping to share these because of thieves and lack of credit, but I need to focus on my own journey.
I love to share my work with the community.
I trust you'll respect my work, given the Time and effort I put into crafting these tools.
Thank you for making it to the end of the thread!
Remember: I make tools for traders, not traders out of tools.
Ciao!

Massive shoutout to @reastruth and @coldbrewrosh for giving me feedback, and to my Beta Testers for playing around with this!
Rosh had a cool idea I might implement in the future – need to convince him to come onboard first 🧐
