I fear my content has fallen victim to the influencer paradox.
As I've grown, all my content gets 'validated' with engagement, so the quality slowly and unconsciously drops over time.
Will revert back to my low follower days mindset to pursue the best content I can create 🍄

I say this because most low follower accounts are chasing validation through engagement
Validate that their content is liked, valuable, or needed.
So as that account grows and so does its average engagement...
What does that mean for the content?

Like in your favourite mmo, content creep occurs.
The barrier to high engagement lowers to the point that every simple step you're now conquering what was once an unimaginable hurdle

Even your most basic opinions get the validation you previously craved and worked so hard for that...
Overtime, you're deluded to believe each post you make is as or more valuable than the content you once worked so hard on
Engagement is a deadly for the mind & ego

I am a 100% a victim of this even if I'm conscious of it.
Ego death and objective analysis of your thought and content, devoid of the rose colored lens that is engagement is the only antidote in sight
