First of, what even is a FVG (Fair Value Gap):
Fair Value Gaps occur when sudden price movements create an imbalance in pricing, resulting in unfilled orders.
You can identify them by checking the High/Low of the previous candle and the High/Low of the following one
( 2/6 )
In areas such as FVGs, price is likely to react (don't take my word for it, do your own research, use your own setups)
( 3/6 )
The same thing occurs the other way :
-FVG is created by a strong displacement down
-Gets back into the FVG and continues to move lower
( 4/6 )
You probably noticed that, in the bearish case, the FVG wasn't complitely filled, that's when the Anatomy of an FVG comes in.
( 5/6 )
In fact, these FVGs are divided in quadrants, where the best entry will occur at C.E (Consequent Encroachment) wich is the middle of an FVG/wick/gap/BPR ( I will be talking about this in my next educational thread ) or at the lower quadrant of an FVG

In one his 2023 livestreams, @I_Am_The_ICT showed a new type of FVG called "Implied FVG".
You can find this "Implied FVG" by taking the C.E of the wick of the candle before a strong displacement and the C.E of the wick after it, as shown in the picture :
I really hope that this helped you in your trading, if you have any question, you can leave a comment or DM me, I would answer with pleasure.
Good luck and good trading.
