I was dirt broke. Had zero clue what I wanted to do in the future. And I had a booze problem.
I hated my university.
Life was mainly centred around going clubbing and drinking.
So that's what I did every day of the week.

Failed my first year at university because I got drunk instead of going to my exams.
I studied computer science btw.
I wanted to drop out and do something with business.
But I legit had no plan, so if I left, I'd be hopeless.

At this point I had Twitter, but it was my old Youtube account's profile.
So all I'd do was post my videos and hope they'd take off.
It was around this time that I saw tweets from dudes selling eBooks.

Making something like $100 a day just from posting on Gumroad.
So I went down a rabbit hole.
Found all these dudes making money online.
Web design, copywriting, eCom.
I screenshotted a ton of tweets. I have most of them today, still.

I remember the night my mindset switched.
I was out with some friends.
Went to buy some drinks, looked at my bank, negative $2000.
Hated myself right there.
That was the moment I had enough. I wanted to change.

Covid happened.
In the UK, everything closed.
Including my university and all the bars.
So I was forced to go home.
And this is where the journey started.

I remembered all of the screenshots I took, so I started going through them all.
eBooks stood out to me the most.
Easy to make and made a decent amount of money for me to get out of my overdraft.
I jumped on Twitter and DM'd a few people asking for their help.

So that's what I did. I had nothing better to do.
I went crazy. I was writing everything I could. Commenting as many times as I could.
And it was working, kinda.

First month I did like 20 followers.
Wasn't great but it was a start.

A month later, this is still something that makes me laugh, I released a growth course.
I had around 250 followers at the time.
Stupid move tbh.
It was a 10-page eBook that had all the info that the dudes who I asked for help gave me.

Now, this is still a massive W for me.
I woke up. $10 sale.
Some Brazillian kid bought it and left me a dope review.
Bro, I was ecstatic.

Btw, I was still technically broke as Gumroad doesn't pay out funds to new users until they verify you.
So even though I made money, I still had no money lmao.
And $10 isn't a lot. But when you're 2 grand in debt, it's like a lottery win.

Talked with him a bit and I spent my last $20 on it.
Now that $20 was all the money I had left in the world.
So I had to make it work.

I legit tried everything to get going again, but nothing worked.
