How can you get clear feedback on the most recent code changes?
Livecycle is a powerful tool for development teams.
It adds visual commenting to any preview environment, so all stakeholders can leave feedback in context and collaborate to get PRs reviewed/closed faster. ๐Ÿงต
Teams can include Livecycle in their workflow in the way that's best for them:
If you already have preview environments set for your per-pull requests, you can install the SDK to enable Livecycle's Figma-like contextual collaboration on top of them.
If you don't have preview environments set up yet, Livecycle can provide the environments + the collaboration tools that go with them.
Livecycle is self-serve and it takes just a couple of minutes to get set up.
The Livecycles dashboard shows you what's currently in review and you can easily add collaborators to join you in a Livecycle playground.
When a preview environment "playground" is opened, the Liveycle collaboration tools appear overlaid so reviewers can take screenshots, and screen recordings, make suggested HTML/CSS edits and leave comments in the collaboration panel.
Built-in dev tools show detailed console and network logs. And all comments are synced back to GitHub where the code owner can see the team's feedback and address it quickly, without getting interrupted.
And Livecycle also supports integrations with tools like Jira, Linear, and Slack so your team doesn't need to change or add any steps to keep the information moving through the current workflow.
So who can benefit from it?
Freelance web devs, dev shops, FE product teams, distributed teams, and beyond. Basically - any dev team with multiple stakeholders.
