2-I stressed on importance of intl media role in addressing human tragedy in Yemen, due to Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia's coup against state &consensus, &conveying a true picture of this terrorist militia, which is similar to other terrorist orgs; Al Qaeda and ISIS.
3-I pointed to violations of freedom of opinion &expression by militia who control public &private media, used violence against journalists &abused them, leading to death sentences, depriving Sana’a of any opposing media voice.
4-I calls on intl orgs concerned w freedom of opinion &expression to condemn these violations &crimes against humanity, &mobilize efforts to pressure Houthi militia to release journalists who are subjected to torture &their lives endangered following death sentences against them
5-I pointed to violations against women by militia, incl. arrest, enforced disappearance, restriction of movement &travel, &abuse against their legitimate rights to public life, latest of which was unfair prison sentences against model Intisar Al-Hammadi and some women.
6-I reviewed abuses &confiscation of property against religious minorities; Baha’is, Jews by terrorist Houthi militia since 2004 leading to their deportation, displacement &turning them into strangers in exile far from the homeland in which their fathers &grandfathers lived.
7-I confirmed that IRG, under the leadership of HE Prez Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, are concerned w relationship w intl media &believe that freedom of opinion &expression is key to democracy &protecting society from sectarianism &extremism
8-I appreciated fraternal &noble support by KSA to official Yemeni media, to exercise its role in conveying the truth and enhancing awareness of human values against terrorism and racism, as well as supporting legitimacy in all aspects in order to restore the state.
9-Ms. Marie-Christine Sargos expressed Group's readiness for fruitful &constructive cooperation w Ministry of Information &affiliated institutions, to convey true picture of humanitarian conditions of Yemeni people due to war that caused one of worst humanitarian crises in world
