Here's why people ACTUALLY share content:
1. To say something they wanted to say, but didn't know how to say as well
2. To express their anger or frustration - they want to vent about the piece of content they share

4. To make themselves seem smart or part of a community - sharing is a form of signaling (just like wearing clothing with a brand logo on it)
