I am very fascinated by the space and spend a lot of time learning about new aspects I find interesting and engaging with like-minded people.
While these two things take up most of my time I like to spend my free time with friends/gf and travel as much as possible.

📍How did you fall into the crypto rabbit hole?
Throughout highschool I had several low paying jobs like working at a bakery, a nursing home for elderly, an ice cream shop etc.

Around half a year before covid hit I had become obsessed with finding ways to scale the output I could get for the amount of time I spent (input).
I have always been fond of maths and recently also economics and wanted to become more knowledgable about the finance world and stock investing in particular.
I came to the conclusion that creating a Youtube channel covering finance subjects was a great way to not only create a future income source but also elevate my knowledge on the subject.
I started posting videos in early 2020 but after a year of grinding several hours most days I had reached ~2000 subs with a total income of $0.
I had begun to develop an interest in crypto because of the increased attention the space had received after the late 2020 market rally and decided educating myself on the space.
Suddenly my videos got far more traction & picked up substantially so I decided to double down and learn as much as possible. It was obvious that there was large demand for educational content due to the novelty and inherent complexity of the space(especially DeFi).
It didn’t take long for me to become completely hooked with leveling up my knowledge and growing my impact. The space was very intriguing and the communities on especially Twitter was what I enjoyed in particular.
📍What is it like to be a content creator
Being a ‘content creator’ is great in many ways and something I’d recommend to most people lurking in the shadows of Twitter. Posting your thoughts and reseach is beneficial in two ways.
Being a ‘content creator’ is great in many ways and something I’d recommend to most people lurking in the shadows of Twitter. Posting your thoughts and reseach is beneficial in two ways.
One, you are forced to do proper research - you are more likely to form your own opinion and dig deeper than you would have otherwise and your thesis can be questioned in a constructive way (but definitely also in a non-constructive way lol).
Second, if you’re serious about the industry then meeting people is key. It not only makes your time more enjoyable but it also opens up doors.

📍Most rekt crypto experience
I’ve gotten rekt by the crypto and defi space several times and in different ways throughout my journey. Each time I emerged with new knowledge however.
I’ve gotten rekt by the crypto and defi space several times and in different ways throughout my journey. Each time I emerged with new knowledge however.
This combined with writing down these experiences and reflecting on them has in my opinion led me to approach the market in a more constructive way and avoid past mistakes. I learned a ton about economics and market dynamics from the downfalls of Tomb finance, Luna and Wonderland
While none of these left me bankrupt the Terra collapse left several important lessons such as not being blinded by a strong community with an agenda.

While I had no funds on the exchange personally, I had a few weeks where I was contemplating whether it was actually worth it spending so many hours in the space and trying to grow a community.
The whole industry felt like a joke and I got to the point where I was ashamed to tell people I was working in crypto.
I reminded myself that there are lots of real world use cases that directly benefit the world especially in defi.

That is what I am focusing my attention on now more than ever.
📍What is your main goal/focus this year?
The two main goals in the space are to keep learning every day and provide the maximum amount of value to as many people as possible.

While DeFi presents a lot of interesting opportunities there are also many paths to the dark side (bad tokenomics, ponzis, exploits etc.). My goal is to help people take advantage of the possibilities in DeFi without making the same mistakes that I did.

I love this meme as it represents the broad mentality in 2021 and even early 2022. After a long period of overall market appreciation, there were many large voices calling for $100-$300k BTC and large altcoin rallies with no end.
“We are just around the corner before the next big alt-season”. Turned out we weren’t. It’s not only an entertaining quote to return to, but also a reminder to take profits and lock in your victories when things are going well.

There are many ways to make it in crypto. You can become a trader, an investor, a developer, a founder, a threadooor, Youtuboor etc.

There are hundreds of ways to make a living in crypto so find the niche that initially intrigued you and keeps you coming back for more and become a value machine in that niche.
Collaborate and connect with likeminded people to boost your knowledge and stay commited through thick and thin!
The space is only getting warmed up. I’m blessed to be able to share it with so many kind and knowledgeable people.
