You should charge more.
These concepts will help you get comfortable doing so:
1. How much money, time, and effort would it cost someone to do it without you or your product?
2. The person who thinks your price is too high probably isn't the one you actually want to serve.
3. You actually help people by charging more - the more someone pays, the more likely they are to put what you give them to use.
4. Pricing is branding. The less you charge, the less valuable it seems, which makes people less likely to buy.
5. Never sell a $5 product. If your priority is to reach as many people as possible, then make it free or a pay-what-you-can product. If you're going to charge, charge something substantial.
6. The more you charge, the better the clients you'll get.
7. The more you charge, the less you need to sell to be successful.
8. Your business needs to be sustainable in order for you to keep helping people - you can't build a sustainable business by undercharging everyone.
9. The real reason you're uncomfortable charging more has nothing to do with your product's value and everything to do with your insecurity.
10. You don't need to justify what you charge to anyone but yourself. If someone thinks it's too expensive, that's OK - it's not for them.
There's one caveat to this whole "charge more" idea:
It only works if you actually create a valuable product.
Here are some previous tips I shared to help you do that:
