The saddest part of recent political events: people have lost hope in the country and the system.
Social media activists fighting for the country disappeared, even when Indians write against 🇵🇰, Pakistanis add fire to it.
Hope drives the nation, neither economy nor military...

Pakistanis were never that hopeless in the 2008-2016 war on terror even, when 100s were dying daily. People wanted to fight, struggle & were hopeful that things would become better. SM Comments were encouraging. Now, even with positive news they just say we are a failed nation.

One important factor in this perspective is action by the govt against social media activists. They started using fake IDs writing against the government & slowly developing anxiety & hate. Also, killing of Arshad Sharif & noise of govt involvement, makes them harsh with no trust

Also, many journalists flew away like Moeed Pirzada , Sabir Shakir...& Telling in V logs that they are not safe in Pakistan, what people will feel or expect from the government or establishment?
Similarly, no case for IK for murder attempt with highest popularity is imp factor.

We feel Pakistan is going through the lowest times.. not economically or politically but people's trust wise. Powerful should really work to re-establish their trust in the system, otherwise we are moving towards the Soviet Union like state, forcefully held together.
