I knew about "coding" when I was 14 since my sister was doing her computer science engineering.
I was never into coding back then because it wasn't my interest at that time. I was into physics and more precisely astrophysics and wanted to join a good space research agency🙂

Somehow I could get into any IIST, India's premiere institution for space and technology.
Then there was a complete lockdown, thanks to covid and I utilized it properly to learn a skill than buying a Netflix subscription.

I was interested in many kinds of stuff and tried to learn all the popular technologies, and I was devastated and knew I wasn't growing or going anywhere with this.
I decided to study web development in depth; it was the best decision I could have made as a 17-year-old!

I learned many tools and frameworks for 6-7 months (I guess) but I couldn't make any money out of it nor I knew about "Freelancing"
I, just like everybody, started to watch "How to make money as a developer" and yeah All videos were saying the same stuffs in different ways.

But then I heard about freelancing and started applying for gigs on Fiverr and Upwork and to be honest it is way to hard to get clients due to the competition
But I made around $200 within 9 months, and I know it is not that much, and I figured out how to make more with my skills.

I then created an online presence by producing content on platforms like Instagram, Medium, Youtube, Twitter, etc.
One day, one of my Twitter posts started to gain traction and was the turning point!

From that, I got many recurring clients, contracts, and some long-term work too when I was doing my engineering degree.

3) Github is still underrated, Make sure you use GitHub well for collaboration.
