All of us need to start something new at some point. This is extremely rewarding, but can be very difficult.
Why is starting anything new difficult and what can be done

-Lack of knowledge or experience
-Difficulty getting organized or setting goals
-Financial or logistical challenges
-Lack of support from others
-Making significant changes to your routine or habits
- Fear of failure or making mistakes
- Fear of unknown for venturing into unfamiliar territory
- Requires taking risks
- Stepping outside of your comfort zone
How to go about starting
-Planning
Make a plan of how to go about it. Focus more on the steps you need to take in the beginning rather than the results/outcomes. Remember Bhagwad Gita's 'Karmanyev Adhikaraste' philosophy
-Outcomes
When you are thinking about or deciding outcomes, set realistic goals and expectations. This can help to reduce anxiety and stress, and can make it easier to manage any challenges that may arise
-Routines
While starting reqiures motivation, continuing requires process.
Create systems and routines to help you stay organized and on track. For example, review your work and to identify any challenges or obstacles that need to be redressed
-Lack of Knowledge
Don't be ashamed of not knowing enough. This is expected at this stage. Plan to increase knowledge. Do it deliberately, rather just learning only on the job.This can include taking classes or workshops, reading books or articles on the subject
-Be open to feedback
This is an important trait in life in general, but of paramount importance in the beginning of something new. Only by accepting your shortcomings can you improve and become a master at the task at hand
-Support group
Another approach is to seek support from others, such as friends, family, or a support group. Talking about your concerns and challenges with others can provide valuable perspectives and advice
-Self-Care
This is a stressful situation. You must practice self-care activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, such as exercise, meditation, or spending time in nature
-Remember
Starting something new is difficult for eveyone. You WILL feel lost and that there is chaos. But if you keep going, patterns and ways will appear.
Ultimately, the key to starting something new is to be persistent and to approach the process with a growth mindset. Believe in your ability to learn and improve.
