My first business venture had left me broke and nearly homeless. I had maxed out my 2k overdraft and I had a £9.5k loan to pay off.
I remember ringing my Mum and asking her for $200 so I could pay for a week's stay in a hostel.

But getting a job was the best thing I ever did. It’s so underrated.
And it was the biggest catalyst for me being able to create an amazing business and life.

You need to put your ego to the side and realize getting the right job can be the ultimate shortcut to your success.
More specifically though, it needs to be a job working for someone who you could learn from.

I started working for an 8 figure coach.
It was incredible because I was able to spend 8 hours+ a day learning from him.
His mindset, thought process, and high-performance habits. I absorbed it all like a sponge.
It was like having a mentor on steroids. Yet he was paying me.

Most agencies spend months trying to sign their first client. I signed mine the same week I quit my job.

So not only did I learn more in those 12 months than I ever could trying to make it by myself.
But it gave me the greatest hack in the world for signing clients. I had an unfair advantage over everyone else starting out.

So if you feel like you’re struggling right now one of the best things you could do is go and work for someone for 12 months.
You may not have a business at the end of it but you will make more progress than you ever imagined.
