The normal Twitter experience sucks.
Too much drama, it's easy to get sucked into.
Here's one feature that will revolutionize the way you use Twitter (that 95% of people don't know about):
👇
My favorite Twitter feature is lists.
I use lists to:
- remove the ads
- trick the algorithm
- organize my connections
- see exactly what I want on my feed
- save countless hours when engaging
It's as simple as:
1. creating a list
2. naming it
3. adding your favorite people
Here are a few lists I set up to maximize my platform time:
- members of communities I belong to
- people I regularly engage with
- topics I'm interested in
- curated resources
- my biggest fans
- potential clients
- thought leaders
I spend little time on my main feed.
The best part about lists?
You can make them private, or you can share them with the world.
I prefer to keep my client & engagement lists private.
But I love curating public lists for the communities I am involved with.
It makes engaging with my friends quick & easy.
Let me ask you.
Are you tired of being intellectually punished by the algorithm on your home feed?
Does your feed look like this:
- random tweet with no relevance
- advertisement
- the latest political drama
- advertisement
- finally a quality tweet
- another advertisement
It's time to start using TweetDeck.
(a thread is in the works!)
Here are a few features I use:
- remove replies & retweets
- create, edit & filter lists
- monitor "competitors"
- filtered search
- NO ADS
This makes engaging with likes, comments & retweets EASY.
You can also use lists to gauge how popular you are.
Search to see what public lists you've been added to.
This will tell you how people perceive you on Twitter.
It's also the easiest way to find which niche you should focus on.
You'll find me on writing lists.
Dickie Bush uses lists and Tweetdeck to stop doomscrolling so he can use Twitter with intention.
You should too!
3 final reasons why you should start using Twitter lists with TweetDeck:
- You never see ads
- Your feed is always in order
- The algorithm doesn't interfere.
